Amanda Close oversees development, implementation and training across the Uniglobe organization, a role she has held since 1993.
Close began her travel agency career with Uniglobe in 1986 as a corporate sales representative; she currently oversees the company’s sales management initiatives in corporate, leisure/cruise, meetings, group and incentive travel.
Close has been instrumental in developing and implementing many projects and programs that today are standard components of the Uniglobe business system. In 1997 she won the Travel Weekly award, “Best Business Management Idea: Sales of Over $50 Million,” for her Converting Inquiries to Sales program.
Close currently oversees global implementation and on-boarding of all new Uniglobe regions and partners, and provides ongoing sales and operational training and support.
She is a subject matter expert in franchising, business development, profitability and performance and has participated in numerous industry panels, forums and media.
